This morning on the school run, I saw a motorcyclist who had been pulled over by police and was being booked.
I have no idea what he was ticketed for…..but a mere 4kms down the road, I was stopped at the traffic lights and saw the same rider speeding past, zipping in and out of traffic and weaving between stopped cars.
I sat in my car thinking, “Seriously? Dude, you’ve just been booked and within minutes you’re riding like a maniac!’.
Then came the still small voice…
“Isn’t it incredible how you can be warned about something, reprimanded, disciplined and released, only to turn around and repeat the behaviour you’ve just been warned about?”.
I knew that God was reminding me of an incident that had happened this past weekend. God told me to keep my mouth shut about a particular situation.
Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so….
How sad that some people’s experience of the love of God, never moves past a nursery song and bible KNOWLEDGE.
God’s love is so much more. The bible shows the lengths He goes to in order to make His love accessible, but it’s biggest function is to point us to Jesus and show us how to enter into a relationship that lets us experience His life-changing love.Read More
