God Loves Dirty

I don’t think we will ever have, even a moderate grasp of the furious, passionate, jealous and Holy love our Creator has for us, until we enter eternity and the veil is lifted from our eyes, exposing with clarity the spiritual war that raged for our souls!

I have a mild understanding of this ferocious love, because whilst still in the pit of filth I had created for myself, I was lifted out, clothed in garments of righteousness and shown grace beyond what I ever will deserve.

I urge you to look at Jesus.
Look at the people He chose to surround Himself with and those He actively made Himself available to.

We love clean.
We love easy.
We love ‘together’.

God loves dirty.
God loves difficult.
God loves broken.
In these people, in these circumstances, His perfect love is free to create a miracle.
My fervent prayer is that I will see those around me, with His eyes!

Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. (Luke 10:2 NKJV)
